Success is not measured by material possessions, but through those you have influenced; making VRP successful. My name is Ronnell Brown and I am a 2012 graduate of Harding University High School. I currently attend The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and I am studying in the areas of finance and fashion. My hobbies include playing tennis, investing, and designing. I am now a business owner because of the C.O.R.E, “Think Tank Academy”, and TRADER$ programs. It was the fundamental knowledge of math, writing, investing, and business ownership/development that has helped me succeed in growing my clothing line, HUEY. I can honestly say I would not be as knowledgeable without this group of advisors/mentors/business specialist. I am extremely appreciative of all they have done.
I am LaCara Rogers from Charlotte, NC. I graduated from Vance High School and am currently enrolled at Saint Augustine’s College (Raleigh, NC). My hobbies include cheering, dancing, and reading about other countries. The Think Tank Academy showed me great tips involving the stock market, the value of investing, and the importance of saving money. Mr. & Mrs. Howard also taught me a lot of life long lessons which include writing and math. I personally believe the Think Tank Academy has been a great asset to my growth in learning and I am extremely thankful for all of the support from the Howards and the Mills.
My name is Pernell Brown and I am from Charlotte, NC. I graduated from High School at The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in 2011. I am currently an undergraduate in the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. Some of my hobbies include reading, playing basketball, and hanging out with friends on the weekend. The “Think Tank Academy” and TRADER$ programs taught me the importance of thinking critically and analytically about the world through the use of personal banking lessons. More importantly, a heavy emphasis was put on practicing math and writing to make me a better student. The summer camp lessons are still very valuable to my success as a student now.
